AUTOMATIC CATALOG REBATES - 25¢ per catalog!
Co-op members will receive an automatic 25¢ rebate on each 2011 Thoroughbred catalog purchased by the member. The rebate is deducted from the already low Thoroughbred prices.
INCENTIVE CATALOG REBATES - Up to an additional 50¢ per catalog!
To encourage member dealers to enlist other dealers into the Co-op, an Incentive Rebate Program has been established. Co-op members will qualify for a Incentive Rebate based on Co-op's total 2011 catalog purchases. The Incentive Rebate is in addition to the Co-op's Automatic Rebate of 25¢ per catalog. The Incentive Rebate is calculated as an additional 5¢ per catalog for each 50,000 sold to the Co-op members, up to a maximum of 50¢ per catalog.
COMBINE YOUR CATALOG REBATES - up to 75¢ per catalog!
When you combine your Automatic and Incentive Catalog Rebates, the combined rebates can add up to a 75¢ REBATE for every 2011 catalog purchased by the Co-op member. Rebates apply only to 2011 catalogs purchased directly from Thoroughbred. All terms and payments must be received on-time for any rebates to apply.
To protect dealer members from retail store saturation, competing member retail stores will not be allowed within a 20-mile driving distance of each other. If a member opens a retail store within a 20-mile driving distance of an existing member, the offending member will be required to leave the co-op.
MONTHLY SPECIALS FOR THE GROUP
Manufacturers will be encouraged to provide exclusive monthly specials, which will produce even more member savings. Members will be notified of the specials through our newsletter and special posting on the member site.

CATALOG PRODUCT SELECTION COMMITTEE FROM WITHIN THE GROUP
In 2011 members of our group will select products for the catalog. The group will select from volunteer committee members. The committee will choose products to be included in the catalogs. Results of the confidential tabulation will be available to all Co-op Dealer Members.

Committees will be formed from co-op volunteers, who are elected by the group for committee placement. Remember, our strength will be our numbers.
GROUP UNITY MEANS SUCCESS FOR ALL
Co-op members are encouraged to help other co-op members with their inventory control by supplying products to other them. The discount to be offered is a minimum of 30%, F.O.B.shipping point. Payment is by credit card at time of purchase. KSS has already agreed to supply any co-op member within these terms and conditions. Buying from co-op dealers that are close to you will save in shipping costs. A list of co-op dealers that volunteer to supply products to other co-op dealers will be posted on the Co-op website when available.

RECRUITMENT OF MANUFACTURER AND DEALER MEMBERS
Recruitment of manufacturers will start in during August and September 2010. Since our strength is in our numbers, dealer should click here to join now. Then, they should encourage the enlistment of new Manufacturer and Dealer Members.
Dealers are important in the recruitment of manufacturers. Shear numbers of the dealer members is significant. The Co-op's purchasing volume will increase as our number of dealer members grows past 200 or even past 500. Manufacturers can see co-op's purchasing as a united effort.
Dealers must first stand together - JOIN TODAY.
The strength will be in our numbers. Why should School Specialty be the only company getting a break? Manufacturers know that should School Specialty fail, like Hammett's and Holcomb's did, it would be a huge blow to their livelihood. Members must be united in stocking products from participating manufacturers in their stores. Make room for the new products from Co-op Manufacturers by eliminating products from non-member manufacturers.
NO KICKBACKS FOR THOROUGHBRED
Thoroughbred will receive NOTHING from sales between dealers and manufacturers. Thoroughbred will continue to provide quality marketing products for dealers and manufacturers that may be purchased on an optional basis.
